Tent as oven!

Mornings camping are the thing I forgot about. Mornings, and the sun which is 1) bright and 2) HOT! The initial "oh, it's bright, cover face and turn over" gets followed by the "damn, it's quite hot, let's throw off the sleeping bags we carefully snuggled under last night" wake up, and then, not much later, by the "let me out of here, it's so stuffy, I just can't breathe!" wake up. Whereupon we would crawl out of the tent to lie in sun, which was still hot, even early in the morning, but at least with moving air, to read, boil a kettle for some tea, and eventually eat some breakfast. Not an altogether bad start to the day, I suppose!
